I stood there as powerful waves crashed against the rugged coastline, sending a plume of spray into the air. In the background, the green Devils Punchbowl State Natural Area disappeared into the mist. Almost like the coastline was being swallowed by both the sea and the clouds. Was I going to be swallowed with it?
The dramatic contrast between the dark shore and the foamy waves creates a stunning visual – I thought as I took the picture.
